Albert P. Lofaro, D.V.M.
Dr. Al Lofaro has been with Emerson Animal Hospital P.A. since 1994. Although he comes from a family of physicians, his love for animals, especially dogs, cats, and horses, led him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Lofaro is a native of Fort Lee, New Jersey. He attended the Veterinary School of Perugia, Italy, and also spent two years at the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in Indiana.
While studying in Italy, he also played semi-pro baseball and basketball. His other hobbies include skiing, fishing, tennis, water sports, fine wines, and gourmet foods.
Dr. Tony Lofaro
Dr. Tony Lofaro joined Emerson Animal Hospital in March 2023 after graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completing his clinical year at Louisiana State University. His special interests include ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery and internal medicine.
When not at work Dr. Lofaro enjoys hiking, traveling, or relaxing at home with his two cats.
Dr. Cory Korsgen
Dr. Cory Korsgen joined Emerson Animal Hospital in June 2018 after graduating from St. George’s University in Grenada. She completed her clinical year at Auburn University in Alabama. Her special interests include surgery, ophthalmology, and dermatology.
A collegiate volleyball player during her undergrad years, Dr. Korsgen also enjoys a good round of golf as well as spending time with her husband, family, and her two dogs that she rescued from Grenada.
